Partner in Crime…

Recently, I had the pleasure of going on the trip of a lifetime. I met a man on my trip who told me that when he was planning his trip, he had approached his wife with 10 different options for vacations and she said that she wouldn’t go on any of them. He ended up planning the trip with a friend which is how I met him – so great for him! However, it made me really think.

Exploring the world is my stress relief. I love planning trips (even for other people), as well as visiting new and exciting places; enjoying so many different adventures. After meeting this man, I realized how lucky I am that my husband is willing to tag along on all my adventures. When we met, my husband had only been to a handful of states and never out of the country. He was fine being a home body. But he knows how much I love traveling and how much it means to me that he comes along with me.

While this may seem like an unconventional way to recognize someone, I know that he is my partner in crime. He is there when I have a tough day and need a hug. He makes me laugh when I need to let loose. And he tags along on all my crazy adventures – my huge outlet from the stress of our jobs.
