There can be only 3

Have you ever had to run a 24/7 operation with only 3 people, well I have. Our agency was hit hard when COVID hit and we lost our main supervisor. I had to take his place in the beginning of 2022 and we have been short staffed since then. Now, in 2023, we are down to 3 dispatchers, which includes myself. My team and I work 4 12 hour shifts and 1 8 hour shift to keep things running. They never call in and if they need an unscheduled day off, we try to switch things around to accommodate everyone. This truly is a super team and I am lucky to work with some of the best, they are dedicated and determined to keep our ship afloat.
