University of Nevada, Las Vegas Police Dispatch

We would love to have APCO buy us lunch as a reward for volunteering at APCO 2018! Seriously we loved pitching in and working  together to make such a successful event. Even our student security force pitched in stuffing bags. We are a tight knit agency as there are only 7 dispatchers and 2 student dispatchers. Two of us have been employed here for 20 years!

As we are located apart from the rest of the department sometimes we get forgotten about. However, sometimes that’s a good thing. We love doing things together. We make learning fun as we always have prizes for our monthly quizzes. As you see in the picture we had an ugly sweater day with some of our admin staff as well.
