Power of Intangibility

Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Communications Section

Intangible is defined as “unable to be touched or grasped; not having physical presence”. A dispatcher is an agency’s most intangible asset as we are never seen nor physically present but we are always there to be relied one. In comic books, people with this power can allow objects (such as bullets) to go through them without being harmed. I think of a dispatcher when I think of this power because a dispatcher is expected to remained unharmed and move on despite dealing with difficult situations daily.
