Our Telecom Week Tradition

Keith Endacott, Executive Director, Klamath 911 Emergency Communications District

Klamath 911 is the primary PSAP for Klamath County, Oregon. We dispatch for about 30 different Police, Fire and EMS agencies. I have been the Director for over 5 years, and an employee starting as a dispatcher some 20 years ago.

Dispatchers everywhere should take pride in what they do and should be appreciated for the challenges that they face and overcome. My opinion is that the dispatchers in Klamath County are some of the best. I am proud of them and appreciate what they do for our community.

We have a bit of a tradition of providing them hoodies each telecom week along with some small gifts and I have attached a picture of this year’s. I hope my staff, and dispatchers all over the country, realize how truly appreciated they are and that they should be proud.
Be Dispatcher STRONG! And God bless, Keith Endacott
