TALLAHASSEE REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS CENTER – FHP

Submitted by DOS Gloria H. Bryan

We are an awesomely unbelievably hardworking group.  Our Duty Officers (dispatchers) work 18 counties, 268 miles of Interstate 10, from the Peridido River (Florida State Line) to the Suwannee River (Madison/Suwannee County) from Tallahassee.  When it rains it pours over in Pensacola and OUR Crew GETS IT DONE !!

Our Panama District was struck by Hurricane Michael.  Troopers, Duty Officers’ homes were affected, some personnel had houses destroyed.  We had manned the command bus over 100 miles away so that our troopers that came from all over the State of Florida could have unified and effective radio communication throughout the devastated areas of the Panhandle and Big Bend Areas.
