The ability to hear what people are saying, no matter the circumstances

Sussex Technical High School

Telecommunicators have the superpower to listen and take in what people are saying no matter the circumstances. When you answer a 911 call you have no idea if the caller on the other end is going to be calm, crying, yelling, or even intoxicated. Telecommunicators can hear and figure out what a caller needs, with sirens in the background, heavy breathing, wind, and get the units and whatever is needed dispatched. A good superpower a telecommunicator should have, is to be able to make a telegram of the person calling. This will help with calming people down with face to face interaction, and also to get a good description of what is happening to that person.
