Kudos to 911 call taker Lynn Williams who handled a call from a woman in respiratory distress who was unable to give her full address. Relying on her training, instinct and re-bid resources, Lynn was able to ascertain the caller’s exact location. #ThankYou911 #WeAnswerTheCall

#KUDOS to 911 call taker Jettia Vance! On a recent call she was able to calm a caller in respiratory distress, barely able to speak. Using her calming technique training, she obtained the vital info needed for @dcfireems dispatch & stayed on the line until help arrived.

Kudos to veteran 911 call taker Nikita Washington who recently assisted with delivering a healthy baby boy! Her composure and steady tone calmed the caller which helped to ensure a successful delivery prior to @dcfireems arrival! Thank you Nikita! #WeAnswerTheCall

Unfortunately a majority of @FCC commissioners approved an order stripping the 4.9 GHz band from public safety.
